i have a new job. i'm actually really excited about it. i'm helping my friend as a freelance real estate photographer. i did my first two shoots today. here is what i have learned so far.
- make the space seem as large as possible.
- show a lot of floor.
- when in doubt, bracket like mad.
- do not shoot the backs of things (especially couches and chairs).
- underexpose for windows.
- never take pictures of toilets.
- reduce visual clutter.
- all tables should have a bowl. all coffee tables should have a magazine.
- find the focal point of a room.
- pretend that you care.
