after chess club last night i wandered into the bar to watch the end of the eagles game. i sat next to a bocci enthusiast and we got into a discussion of politics. the salient question: who would win in a cage match: bush or kerry?

obviously bush would fight dirty. but kerry is super tall and lanky, he's over six feet tall and definitely has a longer reach. i think he'd be hard to hit, and that bush would waste a lot of energy trying to land blows on his wiry frame.

we also know that kerry has been through basic training, as well as an actual war.

it was pointed out that bush probably has a fair amount of experience in bar fights. on balance, though, it wasn't enough to tip it in his favor. the bartender speculated that bush's big mouth probably started most of those bar fights.

next evaluation: bush and kerry whip it out for measurement. (i'll bet cash money that kerry comes out ahead here too).
