it's not yet november but the weather here in new york city is positively wintery already. i almost thought this morning that it might snow. i've conrtacted a pretty bad cold as well, so i don't know if i'll make the scheduled round of holiday parties tomorrow. on the plus side, though, i'ts magnificent weather to stay indoors, read books, and listen to records.

it was one year ago that i was bitten by the vinyl bug. m, i know you're 3,000 miles away now but i totally blame you (in the best way).
