i went to the local record shop today (actually there are three just in my particular hipster enclave and they're all really different) and noticed that they've started repairing and selling used turntables. the guy behind the counter said they can't keep them in stock. also that they're stocking more vinyl than ever before. plus ca change....

i'm disappointed that my vinyl from germany still haven't arrived. oh well, you pays your money and you takes your chances. in the meantime, i'm fighting the winter blues with a fat stack of pretty new records.
