seems like frustration in every direction lately. maybe i am banging my head against the wrong walls?

but at least its june now and friends are ready to socialise. la's birthday on tuesday was refreshing, and band practice on wednesday was edifying in the best way. f and i are beginning to work on music together, which is nice. if we can't be 'making beautiful music together' in the euphemistic sense, at least we can be making music together.

so i think i've finally decided to close the store. i have an assload of paint to tube before i can move out. i need to make it official by telling my landlord. the conversation i'm most dreading is with my mentor! i know he's going to yell, if only because he doesn't really know how to communicate any other way.

z and r are celebrating their first wedding anniversary tonight, with a lovely barbeque on the roof of tung fa. i can't believe they've hung in for a whole year. they've survived the INS probe, moving to a closet in the east village, applying for foodstamps, rampant unemployment, and various personality disorders. it makes me feel like a wimp! congratulations you two, you're an unintentional inspiration.
